* - bimetal, bimetallic - formed of two different metals or alloys; especially in sheets bonded together. Clean snow is an effective reflector of sunlight. But such a high natural light flow can be only in a really unpolluted places, where the atmosphere is clean and transparent.

Slight breeze 4 m/s (unavailable for using in wind turbines) gives power, that is feeling good when the man is overboard of a sailing yacht. Sail has huge surface and high durability - because durability of synthetic fabric is very high. Architectures are using the same principle for building a surface - membrane. Comparing to other constructions, a sail and a membrane have the cheapest cost of surface unit. That's why we make experiments with reflectors, that are built according to the sail principle - stretched durable fabric and metallic foil.

This is experimental aluminium foil reflector. To the moment of picturing this aluminium foil reflector has been at hard outdoor conditions for about 2 months (rain, dust from building, hoarfrost). But aluminium, covered with tiniest layer of transparent varnish, still reflects the sunlight quite well.

( PHOTO: JULY 2006. BULGARIA, THE BLACK SEA ) On the image are, accidentally pictured, tracks from 2 jet planes. What influence on the environment have tracks from jet planes?
