Fireplace
Basis of our heating during the winter of 2007-2008 were free firewood and a stove.

Free heat energy is a result of cleaning of our parcel from sick trees, high stumps, getting rid of old and decayed branches.

Sawing of branches and trunks is a hard work, but make sense as ecological and useful waste utilization.

Wood wastes from building (nature wood without glue, synthetic tars and paints), boards and balks parings, shavings are also a great fuel for our stove.

Stove Prity model K1 B8-3G, installed in the house, has a classic scheme. The stove has total heat power 13 kilowatts, from which 4 KW of the heat energy is power of heat radiation and 9 KW is power for water heating. For this stove and additional pipe radiator for a flue we payed... 160 euros (!!!). The stove has 3 years guarantee.

Radiator for flue has our improvement - miniature 12-volt computer cooler, installed aside of the radiator. Now the hot air goes not straight up, but on the side and much faster. Heat exchenge of the air radiator increased, so air in the room warms more equal.
