Practical usage of nature sources for the needs of autonomous house

Autonomous house need: Fresh air

Traditional way
Devices: sliding-window, ventilation system.

Energy saving and money saving way
Renewable sources: outdoor air. Renewable energy sources: sunlight, wind, heat energy of air, thermal energy of ground.
Devices: ventilation system with "outgoing air - income air" heat exchanger, additional air heating or cooling of entering air and removing or adding of water steam to entering air. Removed air can be used as heat source for heat pump. Water steam condensation is also a heat energy source (latent heat of evaporation) - see also Heat and hot water.

Autonomous house need: Drinking water

Traditional way
Conducting water.

Money saving way
Renewable sources: Ground water.
Conducting water and well-water.

Autonomous house need: Foodstuff

Traditional way
Supermarket.

Money saving way
Renewable sources: carbonic acid gas, nitrogen, water from air, rain water, soil. Direct use of renewable energy source: sunlight. Artificial lighting for green-house: sunlight, power of wind, heat energy of air, thermal energy of ground.
Supermarket plus organic cultivation of vegetables (incl. in green-house). Utilization of organic foodstuff waste as a manure.

Autonomous house need: Heat and hot water

Traditional way
Electrical heating (incl. electric air conditions and heat pumps). Electrical boilers.

Energy saving and money saving way
Renewable source: oxygen from air. Renewable energy sources: sunlight, wind power, heat energy of air, thermal energy of ground.

Heat pump with own energy source for a compressor or heating absorber. Own energy sources are: sunlight (solar electrical battery for electrical pump, solar collector - as a heat source for absorber or use of thermal power through heat engine), wind (wind turbine, wind engine - with direct mechanical transmission to compressor or transformation mechanical power of wind to thermal power).

Solar collector for house heating and water heating.

Wind turbine for transformation of wind mechanical energy to heat energy.

Stove - natural firewood, organic remains from garden, natural wood remains from building.

Heat accumulator helps to use non-constant solar and wind power.

Autonomous house need: "Dirty" water (for WC, etc.)

Traditional way
Conducting drinking water.

Money saving way
Renewable sources: water from air, rain water.
Rain water, used water, condensing water (from heat pump).

Autonomous house need: Artificial lighting

Traditional way
220-volts incandescent light bulbs and compact fluorescent light lamps (energy saving fluorescent lamps)

Energy saving and money saving way
Renewable energy sources: sun power, wind power, air heat energy, ground thermal energy.
Low voltage generation of own electricity (12 volts). Using 12-volts halogen incandescent light bulbs and light power (brightness 100 and more Lumens) ultra bright Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs).

Autonomous house need: Electricity

Traditional way
Electricity is used for household devices such as boiler, air conditions, heaters, refrigerator, hearth-plate, computer, television etc. (There are main electrical energy "consumers".)

Energy saving and money saving way
Renewable energy sources: sun power, wind power, air heat energy, ground thermal energy.
Low voltage generation of own electricity (12 volts). No electrical boiler, air conditions, heaters, refrigerator (see Electricity, Artificial lighting, Heat and hot water, "Cold" (cooling)). Use energy saving computer, television etc. for 12-volts power supply.

Autonomous house need: "Cold" (cooling)

Traditional way
Electrical refrigerator and air condition.

Energy saving and money saving way
Renewable energy sources: see Heat and hot water.
Using cold air or liquid, that have remained from the heat pump. See also Fresh air.
