We planned to use ready materials and construction elements, some devices and to adapt it

We made a decision about the constraction (by our hands) devices to supply our house and the green-house with sustainable energy. We didn't plan to produce steel for structures, we planned to use ready materials and construction elements, some devices and to adapt it. Thats mean, to assemble our home-made house energy system for the extraction of energy from available renewable energy sources.

It is interesting that the industry prepared a good basis for self-made creating of economical autonomous house: relatively cheap and effective (for our purposes) electrical and hand tools, structural and thermal insulation materials, electronics.

The construction of the house energy system also does`n the unsurmountable obstacle, if: to look to the task with creative view; to reject stereotypes; to be based on your own good sense and experience of the previous generations.

For example, the ancient windmill at the entrance to Old Nessebar (city-museum, included to UNESCO World Heritage list) suggested me an idea about construction of low-speed wind turbine* with the working blades made from the cheap, light and durable synthetic cloth for awnings.

And the legend about how Ancient Greeks with mirrors burnt enemy flotilla, prompted construction of a reflector for concentration the sunlight power to thermal solar collector made of awning cloth and aluminum foil.
